I tried to work around this by exporting the page to a PDF file, instead of printing it (File -> Export). There, the dashing is preserved, but line thickness is screwed up in the output file. (There seem to be only 2 gradations of thickness: "thin" and "thick").

So, when I can control dashing, I cannot control thickness, and vice versa. I want to use both, though. Any ideas how to deal with this?

Following recommendations may be helpful.

1. Try to convert Origin plot into vector drawing object using third part software like Microsoft Visio, Corel Draw, etc. Use the converted one to create PDF presentation afterwards.

2. Simply export the graph as a raster image (if the resolution available will be sufficient to reach the desired quality).

3. Check your printer driver (may require an update). Some problems occur printing graphs containing plots with a huge number of points and non-solid line format on PCL-printes. At least, try another one (printer or driver) to check the possible reason of the problem.
