I am using Origin 6.0. I need the atan2 function, but cannot find it under the list of functions available in Origin.

Is there a way to implement atan2, using atan and maybe some script? My current solution is to manually add 180 degrees to certain (not all) negative values in a column, before computing the atan of that column.

Thanks,
Ann

Use the angle function. The syntax is
angle(x,y)

Note that angle's argument order is x,y while ANSI C's atan2 is y,x.
