Origin Ver.8.6 and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Operating System:win 7
I create a contour and my boss need me to do some analysis. The graduated one did not teach me this and just send me a example opj for reference.
It is said I should select the area I want to analyze and then integrate over it. OK, below is what I copied from result log
Integration of Matrix1 from zero: i = 1 --> 8118 x = 1 --> 8118 Area Peak at Width Height ------------------------------------------------------------ 401551.1161 1 83 1414.21362
How can I get this or which button I should click to get this result? My boss need this tomorrow and I am still struggling.
Judging from the output, this looks like it was done with some old tool that was designed for something else and happened to include integration. Matrix Integration can be found on Analysis : Mathematics : 2D Volume Integration.
It may be a tool developed by users, not Origin's built-in one.
2D integration calculates the whole area for the matrix. It seems the tool can calculate the integration for a chosen area. So 2D integration's result may be larger?
It seems that the tool can also find peak.
I didn't know what the actual result was that you wanted. Did you want to choose an area in the contour, find a peak and then integrate it?
If you can send us your example opj, then it may help us understand your question better.

I am trying to find out the 2D surface integration by using Gadget-2D integrate but i want to choose circle as a region of interest (ROI) instead of rectangle.Is it possible to choose the circle as ROI in this gadget or any another way to choose the circular surface???
I'm afraid circle ROI is not supported for now. Please replace the background Z value by 0 (or set constant baseline as your background Z value), as a workaround.
