 origin 5.0 crashes when editing axis labels

Hi,
our Origin crashes when I want to edit an Axis Label. Regardless of the mode i try (i.e. double click, right click or menu-selection)
HELP ! (well i DO need my thesis in time you know :)
The Error message is as follows (german version, but sice we have all seen a windows program crash before . . .) (Actually two errors)

If you just need to change the scale, you can type into script window
X1=0;X2=20;
will set X axis scale from 0 to 20.
Same for Y1, Y2.
There is also X3 and Y3 to control the increment.

Hi, Thanks for your reply,

i can scale the axis OK,
the "only" time the programm crashes is when i edit the axis title.

Bottom x axis title: xb.text$="X-axis title"
Left y axis title: yl.test$="Y-axis title"
