Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 9.0.0 SR1 Operating System: Win 7 64 bit
Hi,
I'm having a problem with the eps export. Here is what the graph looks like in Origin:
As you can see, it looks fine in Origin. But in Illustrator the y-axis labels moved a bit down and also the text in the bars moved down and to the right.
Is there anything I can do about that?

Hi Fed0r,
Our testing team has tried to reproduce the problem you described using Origin 9 SR1 and Illustrator and GSView, but so far they couldn't reproduce the problem. It worked correctly with no font shift.
Have you used Remote Desktop when the problem happened? They have known a similar problem when the Remote Desktop was involved.
Also, could you please check whether the following menu (the bottom menu under "Graph" menu) has been applied, or not on the graph which has such problem?
Graph> Convert to Standard Font Size
This menu has been provided to absorb the past problem of font size in the older Origin versions.
If the above situations are not in your case, maybe could you please send your Origin file, and the exported EPS file to us (by pressing "Send File to Tech support" link on top of this page)?
Thank you very much for the further information.

Hi,
thanks for your help! It seems that the problem is not easy to reproduce, sorry for that. I just spent an hour trying to figure out what the problem could be. I don't use Remote Desktop.
It seems that the problem has something to do with the font and the size of the graph. There is no problem as long as I use "Arial". I can change the size of the graph to whatever I want. The eps always looks fine. But when I change the font to "Aldus Roman" the problems start to appear when I make the layer smaller, for example 90mm x 40mm like in my first post. There are no problems with a bigger layer like 200mm x 150mm.
I will send you the Origin file and eps.
Thanks!

Hi,
I played around with the export options and it seems that the option keep size/set resolution does the trick. The problem goes away if I choose "keep size" or if I choose "set resoltuion" and set the resolution to 600. A resolution of 300 makes the text move a bit and a resolution of 100 makes the text move even more.
