Origin Ver. and Service Release: 8.5.0 SR1
Operating System: Windows 7
Hello!
How do I insert a table(that contains some data which looks like this  ) into a worksheet so that it will look like this  .
Because when I tried to paste this data into Origin's worksheet it looked like this  .
So where did I get it wrong?

Hi,
Just to be clear, this happened when you copy and pasted the data into Origin, and not by importing it?
I tried to paste in a similar table and it worked fine if I had cell A(X), 1 selected when I hit CTRL+V

Oh yeah exactly,sorry, this was after I imported the data into Origin. I've just tried copying and pasting it, just as you said and now it looks different but however not the way I need it=(

Hi,
Try following these steps and let me know if they work for you:
1. Open the import wizard (accessed with CTRL+3) and select your data file.
2. Click Next to go to the File Name Options, and make any adjustments if you want.
3. Click Next to go to the Header Lines.
4. Uncheck the box for Auto determine subheader line, and set the Number of subheader lines to be 0.
5. Click Finish (or Next if you wish to make any changes on subsequent pages of the dialog)
--> The data should import correctly, and not place any data in the yellow metadata rows

Oh,thank you a lot Matthew. It worked just great! Actually this so called 'import wizard' is the things I'd been looking for.
