Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 9 (32bit), SR2
Operating System: xp

Hi,

When I tried the Signal processing: decimate, It opens the dialog with "x coordinates of the curve are not monotonic". I believe the data in x should be monotonic. Is there some limitation with this feature? Thanks!

Yes, the x must be monotonic.

Maybe you have some x with same values, that's not working either.

If that's the case, you can first highlight your XY columns and choose Analysis: Data manipulation: Reduce Duplicate X

Then do the decimation?

Thanks, Snow Li
