Hey guys,

So basically ive been using http://www.originlab.com/doc/OriginC/ref/GetGraphPoints to be able to plot a graph, pick a point, and then be able to use the output from it e.g the x value, in my origin c code.

The problem is, i want to be able to use the zoom tool to go to the correct area on my graph, then be able to pick my points, but every time i click on the zoom button it cancels the getgraphpoints, what else could i do? is there any way to put a graph in a GETN dialog box, pick the scale values, then use them to plot the graph ready to pick points?

i looked at this :http://ocwiki.originlab.com/index.php?title=OCGuide:Creating_Graph_Preview_GetN_Dialog but i want to be able to do it all in my origin c file in functions.

Please help!

Cheers!

Oli

Interesting. I don't think one can click on the zoom button when getting graph points by Origin C. Isn't it disabled?
Anyway, to go to the correct area on your graph before getting graph points, "z" + mouse wheel, or Shift + "z" + mouse wheel. That would not cancel the GetGraphPoints.
