Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 9.0.0 SR2
Operating System: Win7

When creating custom fitting functions, one can enter the units and meanings of each parameter and derived parameter. However, once the fitting is done, the units and meanings are not displayed.

Is there a way to display the parameter units and meanings in the fitting result page?

Hi XZ_laser,

I haven't come to a good automatic way, and only one manual work-around is to put the
following text to the Comment of the "Input Data" node (by pressing the triangle button
at Input Data, and select "User Comments":
  Indep: %(1!col(1)[C]$) (%(1!col(1)[U]$))
  Dep: %(1!col(2)[C]$) (%(1!col(2)[U]$))
Here, it is assumed that "1" and "2" are column numbers of the independent and dependent
variables, respectively, and the data is in the first sheet. (You should change as needed.)

Hope this makes your life easier.

Hi XZ_laser,

Sorry, I have misunderstood what you wanted - instead of the units and comments of the data, but of the parameters.
I have suggested our developers to improve the report sheet from the fitter.

Hi XZ_laser,

It is already possible to show Units in the result sheet:

On Nonlinear Curve Fit dialog, with Settings tab active, select Advanced node on the left panel, go to Quantities to Compute - Fit Parameters branch, check Unit checkbox (by default it is unchecked).

Then in the result sheet, on Parameters table, there will be a Unit column. Is it what you want?

As to displaying Meaning info, we will look into it.
