Hi All,

I'd like to create a multi y plot with one x axis, but from 2 different x columns, from Excel. How do I do this?

Thanks

Dear Frances,

Can you please be a little clearer about how you plan to create on x axis using two x columns so we can help you further. Maybe an image would make it easier to understand.
Also you can import data from Excel into Origin by either copy pasting directly, saving the excel file and dragging onto an Origin worksheet or by using the following method of import:

Hi Zahra,

Sorry - I just thought it was such a simple question there must be a simple way of doing it - I'm a new user so forgive me if I'm asking an obvious question.

I have two spreadsheet tables, the first X = Age, Y = Temperature. The second X = Age, Y = UK37. The Age column has different values in each table. I want one graph, with Age along the bottom, temperature along one side and UK37 along the other.

Any help would be much appreciated,

Thanks

Hi,

You can add an extra phantom column for plotting. Please see the following example:
