Hi all,
I have ten graphs that I would like to arrange in 5 FIgures. Each Figure has 2 graphs. For each Figure I copy one graph (or layer) and paste it in an existing graph. That gives me two layers in each Figure. Then I use the size and position of each of the two layers to arrange them in the given graph. However, I noticed that several settings like the font size and color of lines might change when a graph is copied. I guess they are scaled according to the size of the Layer. Is there an easier solution to arrange two already existing graphs?
A second question is if it is possible to set the position of text labels or axis labels that I use for each graph? By that I mean that the coordinates of a label are set like for the layers.
Thanks in advance! Igor |

Hi,
You can go to "Plot Details" dialog, layer level, "Display" tab, and set "Scale Elements" be "Fixed Factor" = 1. Then all fonts will not change with layer size. But the color of lines should not change with layer size, I'm not sure what happened. Can you provide a little more details?
And the standard way to merge two graphs is to use "Graph: Merge Graph Windows..."
For graph objects (rectangle, for example), you can right click it and select "Properties...", go to "Dimensions" tab and set "Units" be "Scale". Then you can use the layer axis scale to position and size this object. For text objects (legend, for example), you can use "object.x1" and "object.y1" commands to set the coordinate of the upper-left node of this object based on layer axis. and "object.dx" and "object.dy" to set size. "object" is the programming name of this object.
Why you want to set axis labels other than default position? You can go to Axis Dialog, "Custom Tick Labels" tab and uncheck "Labels Stay with Axis" checkbox and provide offsets (or directly drag the labels on graph).
