Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 9 Operating System: Windows 7
Hello,
Following this tutorial, I created toolbar buttons to run several scripts, but they don't seem to do anything when I click on them. When using script window to open the scripts, everything works smoothly.
I checked and double-checked that the scripts are correctly attached to the buttons. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you. |

Hi, Claire,
Could you export your button as an OPX and sent it to us so that we can see what went wrong.
You could follow the instructions below to send your file. http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Support&pid=752

Done. You can find it under the name scriptsclaire.opx.
Thank you.
By the way, the link you provided was not the right one (it is linked to FFT support page), please modify it so that other users don't get confused :) . |

Hi, Claire,
I apologized that I did not realize that you have uploaded the OPX to our FTP.
I checked your codes. The problem should be because you did not have section in your OGS file but specify section name when you set the buttons.
Please remove the section name for each button setting and see whether it works for you.

Hi Echo,
Thank you, I mistakenly understood section as the button section, not as the script section. I tried again and everything works great :) |
