Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:
I would need some help with the modification of the Hill Fit formula that I use for determining my Km and Vmax for MM kinetics.

Since I have a protein showing product inhibition I would like to modify the formula including the inhibitory effect at higher substrate concentrations (the curve looks about like a skewed normal distribution). The formula I would like to use:
y=Vmax*x^n/(k^n*(1+[I]/Ki))+x^n), where I would be the reversible inhibitor and Ki the rev. inhibitory constant.
I already tried a lot of different things but I am not really sure whether it is possible to implement the end of the curve as 'inhibition effect' to determine the Km and Vmax for the full curve ... however I have seen full curve fits in other publications with horribly long formulas ...
Thanks a lot in advance!
