Dear all,
I have data looking more or less like that:
1 50,0
2 47,5
3 45,1
4 42,9
5 40,7
6 38,7
7 36,8
8 31,0
9 24,4
10 17,1
11 12,0
12 8,4
13 5,9
14 4,1
15 2,9
If viewed with logarithmic y-scale, one can clearly see two regions of different slopes. In this example, its easy to determine the border between those two regions ("onset"), but there are other examples where it's more difficult. The best way to determine the onset is to approximate both regions by a linear line (linear in the logarithmic scale) and to find the intersect of those two lines.
So far I do it manually, but I would much prefer to create an automatism. It would be easy in Matlab, but is there also a way in Origin?
