Hi,
is there any option in Peak Analyzer -> Fit Peaks -> Peak Filtering dialog that would allow choosing position on x-axis where the peak is expected (instead of peaks' height or number of peaks)?
This is what I want to do: I have a lot of different spectroscopy data (intensity vs. wavelength). In every spectrum I would like to fit only two (out of many) separate peaks. The only thing I know for sure is the position (i.e. x-axis value) of these peaks which is the same for all spectra. I tried to use Peak Analyzer to set parameter, save the theme and then use Batch Peak Analysis with that theme to batch process all spectra. The problem is that spectra are very different in terms of peaks' height, number and noise. I can't get just my two peak fitted no matter what I set for peak height or number of peaks in the Peak Filtering dialog.
I tried to narrow the data range (to include only desired peaks) but it is not saved with the theme and in Batch Peak Analysis dialog you have to set it again for every workbook, which is useless.
I have a feeling that I should somehow set the data range with the script but I don't know how.
Before saving the theme of Peak Analyzer, but after turning ON the "Fixed" check boxes for your desired two X centers, have you tried to turn ON the "Fixed Status and Fixed Value" option in Theme Settings (a flyout from the triangle button at upper right corner of the PA tool)?
With my simple experiments, regardless the total number of peaks there, I could certainly get the peak at the designated fixed position.
