Origin Ver. and Service Release: 8.5.1 SR2 b315
Operating System: Windows 7

Hi, please can somebody advise me?

I am trying to use the Peak Analyzer to process multiple spectra. I want to fit the spectra (4 gaussian peaks) and extract the fit parameters, the fitted curves, and the fitted peaks' properties. I am having two problems.

1) When I fit a single spectrum, these things are output to the workbook the data was contained in as new sheets named "FitPeaks1", "FitPeaksCurve1", and "PeakProperties1". But the one time I used the Peak Analyzer batch processing successfully, I received only a single separate workbook called "Summary" with one sheet called "Results", where only the fitted peaks'properties were contained. I did not get any output of the fitted parameter values for the Gaussian functions, nor the fitted peak curve data, that were respectively in the sheets named "FitPeaks1" and "FitPeaksCurve1" when I only analyzed a single spectrum. So I would like to be able to get these things out of the batch analysis.

2) I only got the batch fit to work once. I produced a new template with different initial fit parameters (essentially I just moved the intial peak center of one of the four peaks). I don't know what has changed, but now I always get the error message "Failed to create summary sheet. The specified result sheet did not exist." Does anyone know what might be causing this error? I can find nothing in the documentation.

Many thanks.
