Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:
Hello friends,
Kindly, I want to know how can I set both the start and end of a peak during peak fitting? When I fit some peaks, the fitted one has both start and end which are not accurate with my real one. For example, How can I set the start and end of the attached peak to be at the two arrows. My origin is 9.1
Thanks for your help

After plotting the graph, you can use the Selection on Active Plot button (7th button on Tools toolbar which is docked on the left side of Origin workspace by default) to select a subrange, then open Peak Analyzer or Nonlinear Curve fit to fit.

Thanks much for your help.

Could you kindly clarify how to fit the peak to certain start and end?
I don't know this step.
Thanks

Hi,

In NLFit dialog, Settings tab, Data Selection page, select Input Data: Range #: Rows: by X, then you can specify the start and end X value for fitting.
