Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating SysHallo

is it possible to approximate a 3d surface like
0 0,15 0,35
0,15 0,35 0,4
0,35 0,4 0,2

with the formala
z = x^2*(a0+a1*(y-c0)^2)+b0+b1(y-C1)^4.

If not is it possible zu smooth a 3d surface?

Sincerely yours

hi,

You can try using Analysis: Fitting: Nonlinear Surface Fit with your own 2D fitting function.
But you will need more data points to do a fit. At least 7, in your case.
