I am using origin version 6.1 and I need help to quantify peak shifting in a 3d plot. In the image below you can see a peak that occurs between 2 and 3 in the y axis then shifts upwards and slowly comes back down. Is there a way that I can plot a line graph of peak position (y-axis) vs time (x-axis)?

Hi twilly,

I don't think Origin 6.1 can handle such task. In a later version (e.g., ver.8.6 or later), you can extract contour line coordinates of a specific Z level; then you can find a peak position using Peak Analyzer (also ver.6.1 lacks this).

Please try the evaluation version of the latest ver.9.1:
