Operating System: Win7 (64 bit)

Hello all,

I hope someone could help me to solve my problem in Plotting. At first I have to explain my messurement and my intension for plotting.
I messured 80 cells with values 700-900 "units".Now I am going to plot the homogeneity of my messurement in kind of chess board pattern. The different colors should reflect the different values.
At first I tried with 2 matrix. One for plotting a planar surface and the other one for filling out with diffenrent colors.

I hope you could follow my instruction :/

After that I enable the mash function. Now I have the problem that I have a 9X7 pattern not a 8x10 like the matrix is (-> problem with the matrix scatter). Furthermore I dont know how I select the size of the boxes ( tried with griding options--> no success). I want to have for each value( 80 values) one box and then I want to fill out with a certaint color.
