Hello,
I have two data sets of concentration on simultaneous days. I have to check whether these two curves follow similar pattern or not ( there might be some time lag between both) on daily basis. The variation in my curve is not regular and straight inspite shows peak variation at some time and low concentration at other times. I have to examine the consistence based on each day. Or how the concentration of one species is changing/affecting other after some time

How can I explain it mathematically and prove the variation to be statistically significant ?

Is there any way someone could suggest me.

I shall be very thankful to you.

Hello,
can we check which data point the peak corresponds.how to explain the plot?

If I check it

1) On each day data ( 24 hour each day) it might be bit difficult as the decrement in one quantity is leading to enhancement in other at a particular time range.

2) But if I check it on daily mean data for whole year it will only give one peak.

I want to check how many days in a year both the concentration follow similar variation? how can I do that . My data also have data gaps.
