Origin Ver 2015. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Windows 10

Hi,
I am having trouble combining two 3D graphs in Origin pro to a single graph. The two graphs have similar XY coordinates, but the Z axis is very different so there is a need to make a second Z axis scale bar, is this possible?

Happy holidays
Isaac

Hi Isaac,

Origin doesn't support multiple layers for 3D graph. That means you can't add another Z axis to 3D graph.

But, you can plot these two 3D plots in one graph layer and add a break into Z axis to show these two 3D plots in different data range.

The screenshot belows is a simple example:

About how to add axis breaks, please refer to this help page:

If you have any problem, please let me know. Or you can send us the project files and detailed description of your requirement via e-mail: tech@originlab.com.

Thanks,
Shirley
