I would like to extend the least squares linear fit line to the y axes. How is this done? I would also like to plot confidence and predictions lines, not bands. Any suggestions?

Hi,

For your first question, do you want to extend the fitted line to obtain the Y intercept of the fitted line? If so, you can set the X range as the screenshot below shows:


And then reset the X and Y scale in the result graph to show the Y intercept.

For your second question, do you mean the Confidence and Prediction band? You can check these two check boxes showing in the above screenshot. To get the lines, you can turn off Fill Area Under Curve check box in the Line tab of Plot Details dialog.

Your instructions worked great. In Plot Details 'Transparency' defaults to 100% and must be reduced for the confidence lines to show on the plot.
