Origin 2016 64it sr2 b9.3.2.303 Demo
Operating System: win7 ultimate sp1 64bit

Hi

I find something strange. When using %(%(y,@lc<n>)) expression to express sth in text label in graph, if n >=9 or nth line of column comments is missing, Origin2016sr2-32bit will crash. Origin2016sr2-64bit will not crash. But, it looks like that Origin2016sr2-64bit will run out windows system memory so as to crash windows system.

Is that really a bug?

Thanks
Junhua

Hi Junhua,

Yes, I can reproduce the crash in my 32bit PC. I have submitted a JIRA for this problem:

https://originlab.jira.com/browse/ORG-14626

BTW, not sure why you use two sets of %() in the text object. %(1,@lc<n>) can show the nth row of column comment, and no crash happens.

Thanks,
Amanda

Hi Amanda:

@lc1 could be "[A]B,@wl,Summary.R1.Stats_AdjRSquare, .4", @lc2 could be "[C]D,E, .4", etc. If I change my mind , I can edit %(%(y,@lc<n>)) again and again and again to show different text in the graph, that is convenient, in comparison with editing linking text, especially in the case that there is a lot of graphs.

Thanks
Junhua
