Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2016 (64bit) Sr1 b9.3.1.273
Operating System: Windows 7

I have an analysis template that I am hoping to expand its capability. The template now fits data to some function and provides fitting parameters. Let's assume that the 5 fitting parameters are in Cells 1-5 in Column C.

I am trying to calculate new values as a function time using these parameters. So I created a column of time in Column A and B is going to be the calculation. When you are in Set Column Values (Ctrl+Q), it is easy to assign a whole column (Column A, for example), but how do you designate a specific cell in the dialog such that the calculation is automatically updated as my fitting parameters change? Thank you.

You can use e.g.
Col(A)*col(C)[1]+col(C)[2]

If save such as analysis template, the Col(C) 1-5 values will be cleared as well. If you want to keep it in saved template. You can first select those cells. Right click and choose Format Cells. Check Display Editing so they are locked.

If your fitting parameter are from some fitting result, here is another FAQ to see how to call fitting parameter values in Set Column Values dialog.
