Hi,
Would be possible to surface fit multiple-data.
I found Multi-Data Fit Mode box grey, and I could not select multiple dataset using customised fitting function.

Thanks! Actually my two dependent variables are linked with each other.
I just tried to put two dependent variables together, but it requires one more independent variable. Would be possible to define more than 2 independent variables? Such as (x,y,z)-u fitting?

Sorry, but we have troubles to understand your further question. Could you please show us the equation of fitting functions you are talking about? And please also give us more explanations if possible?

Yes. I would like to customise non-linear fitting functions with more than 2 independent variables, e.g. f(x1,x2,x3)=y. Would that be possible?

Hi,
If you just want to do fitting with a user-defined function which have multiple independent variables, you can just follow this tutorial:

But in your previous posts, you were talking about surface fitting for multiple data, so I am not sure if have further/other demands. Anyway, if still problem, please show us more details about your requirement, such as the equation of fitting function and source data to fit.

Brilliant! It solved my problems!
I was looking for fitting such as:
f1=f(x,y)
f2=g(x,y)
So two independent variables and two dependent variables.But seems surface fitting is not capable to treat such problem.
But now I have transformed above to:
f=u(x,y,z)
So three independent variables but only one dependent variable, and it is working with your last post.
