Hi all,
I using Origin 8.6G for work and I am totally new to this programm.
I had measuret a signal every µs and in total I have 100000 data points. Now I want to know what frequenzes the signal contains and for that I want to use the FFT. Because the signal is detected every µs, do I have to convert the measuret values in seconds before using the FFT? Or something like that?

Thank you.

Hi,

Quick answer is NO.

The FFT result of signal detected every microsecond is totally the same as that detected every second, if you set the same value of sample interval in FFT dialog.
