can someone help me find all peaks tha exist in my graph, not only the obvious one?

Hi Katerina,

You can use Peak Analyzer or Quick Peak Gadget to find the peaks, automatically or manually.

To manually add peaks, please see the screenshot below:

Hi,
first of all, thank you for replying! i did all that you suggested but i still can't find out if there is a hidden peak between 2θ=20 deg and 2θ=30 deg. Can you help me please?

Hi,

As the noise on the range 2θ = [20:30] are very different from that on the range 2θ > 30, on their magnitude, you need treat the former separately to find the hidden peak.
1. Plot the data, Graph1. Use Data Selector toolbar to select the interesting range, I suppose its row number = [1:476].
2.Select Analysis: Signal Processing: Smooth to smooth the curve and remove the noise. In the Smooth dialog, set Points of Window to 200. Click OK.
3.Another column col(C) will be added with smoothing results. Plot this column, say Graph2, you will get a curve with a visible peak.
4.Find peaks on this curve using Peak Analyzer or Quick Peaks gadget, you will get the position of this “hidden” peak(X=25?). See Graph 2 in the screenshot below:
