How to draw two (or more) hi-low-close plots ? Is this possible in Origin 6.0 ?
How can I control manually - which of the columns goes into which category ? "Layer contents", "Plot properties", and "Plot associations" do not allow me to do that for hi-low-close plots.
Also, is it possible to connect the "close" part with the line by a way, more elegant rather than adding that as a new plot to the same graph ?
All ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,
You can do the following: 1> Create separate graphs for each Hi-Lo-Close plot that you want to make 2> Merge them all using the Edit->Merge All Graph Windows menu command. This command will allow you to configure your layer arrangement etc. 3> Save the merged graph as a template for later use. You can then move data in and out of the layers of this graph and the plot style (of Hi-Lo-Close) will be remembered.
As for connecting with line, you can turn on line in the Plot Details dialog on the Line tab for this plot. Three lines are drawn connnecting hi, lo and close points.

Thanks for the response. However:

Well, that's for several layers. How can I do that on one layer, so I don't have to be dealing with multiple scales, axes, etc. ?

I was asking about connecting the "close", i.e. middle part. Is that possible?
Maybe somebody, who knows insides of the Hi-Lo-Close template can help with the idea how one can use it effectively? Once you change your Plot type to something else, you don't even have choice of getting back to Hi-Lo-Close.. Frustrating...
