Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2017
Operating System:win7 64bit

Hi,

I know how to set a column format (as .format, .digitmode, .digits) but I'm wondering how to set an individual cell format.
Assigning a cell range doesn't work and the wcellformat Xf only allows to open the dialog.
Is there a way to set it with command line ?

Thanks

Looks like a new Xf is needed, as this can only be done via Origin C right now.

Hi couturier and who noticed this post,

We have introduced a new X-Function in Origin 2018. Now we can use wcellFmt to get or set the cell properties using a tree:
https://www.originlab.com/doc/X-Function/ref/wcellfmt

FYI, we have just released Origin 2018 last week. You can upgrade or download a demo to see how it works:
http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?s=12&lm=62

Of course, we have many other improvements and new features in Origin 2018. You can visit
Originlab.com/2018 for more info.

Thanks,
Yuki
