Hi,

1) You can create a new column within the worksheet and calculate the standard deviation by inputting a function for the set value, input StdDev(x)
http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Products/Origin/DataManagement/WorkbooksAndWorksheets&ss=chm&pid=1166

or

2) You can use the Statistics on Column dialog box
http://www.originlab.com/doc/Tutorials/DescStats#Calculating_Descriptive_Statistics_on_Grouped_Data

or

3) Another option that might be helpful is that you can use the statistics gadget, which can calculate the standard error of your plotted graph:

Hi,

Here is a link that lists the equations corresponding with the the statistical quantities that can be determined with the Statistics on Columns dialog box, including standard deviation. Hopefully this is what you are looking for.
