Dear people,
I am finishing my university work and always exporting my graphs from origin to an image in windows and then insrting ir on a text editor (word) but all my figures get a really low/bad resolution and quality. They become no good when I make a PDF.

Any suggestions ?

Hi,

In general, every time you duplicate an image and re-save the file, the resolution will decrease. Therefore taking an image and exporting it and then re-saving it in a .pdf may lower the resolution.

How are you exporting the figure from Origin? And how are you inserting the image into word?

You can use the Export Graph Dialog Box (File --> Export Graph) to export the graph first as .pdf .eps or .png and more(depending what you want to do with the figure). You can also edit the image size for resolution in the Export Graph dialog box.

You can also directly export a graph into word by copying and pasting.
