In a help section "Using LabTalk and SQL to Import Data from a Data Source", an examle
// label -n name message. creates a Label object.
label -n SQL2 //SQL2 Statement
nwind_mdb
Order Details
TABLE
SELECT * FROM "Order Details"
........
when the programe excute to the line "db.open()", a dialog saying ODBC can't find the data source turns up.

Question:
1.does nwind_mdb mean nwind.mdb?
2.should this file be put in a certain path or position?
3. or it is a problem with the settings of ODBC?

In the example, nwind_mdb is the name given to the Datasource which connects to nwind.mdb using the Access ODBC driver. That datasource must have been created previously.

Script access to ODBC connections is not always very reliable. We recommend using ADO access instead. There is an ADOSAMPLE.C program example in the Samples\Com Client folder. If you do not have 7.5, you can download our Demo and see how this works.
