I'm using OriginPro 2017G. I have a couple of Measurements (length over time) and plotted an exponential fit over the dots (length gets shorter/lower with time end eventually reaches a steady level). - so far so good. Now I'm looking for a way to figure out at what time the length is reaching say 95% of the minimum level.
You may want to use the Find x from y function in the nonlinear fitting dialog to do this. 1. In your result sheet or the graph, find and click the green lock and choose Change Parameters... to open the NLfit dialog. 2. Under the Settings tab in the left panel, select Find X/Y. Check the box Find X from Y. click Done. 3. You will see a new worksheet FitNLFindXfromY1 is added in the same workbook. Select that worksheet. 4. Enter Y value in the first column will calculate the corresponding X value on the fitting curve. Basically in your case, you may want to enter the y value of 95% of minimum level and will get the time value.
