Hi,
I have created a colormap 3d graph of a set(Y-data) of spectra(XZ-data). Is it possible to "highlight" a few spectra by displaying them with something like an extra thick (grid)line? I can only find the settings of all the gridlines (thickness/color are located at "format plot-grid" and number of gridlines is located at "format layer-size/speed".
Furthermore, is it possible to also display X, Y and Z axis at the opposite side of the graph (not the side that can be selected at format-axes-title&format, they are behind the graph)? So, display the Y-axis not only at 100%X, 0%Y, but also at 0%X, 100%Y.

It isn't possible to highlight individual gridlines on a 3D Color Map Surface. I can think of two possible alternatives:
- add a line or scatter plot to the layer contents of your color map surface plot. For information on this, you might want to have a look at this thread: http://www.originlab.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3200
- Instead of plotting a color map surface, create a 3D Waterfall plot using worksheet data. Each plot is individually customizable.
As for displaying the X,Y, and Z axis ticks and labels in a 3D graph, it sounds as though you have already explored turning on the front, back, left, right, etc. tick labels on the Tick Labels tab of the Axis dialog box. The only other thing I can suggest is to rotate the graph using the 3D Rotation toolbar (and, of course, you can always manually add text labels using the Text Tool).
