Hi, This may not be exactly based on Origin.I am looking for LM algorithm specifically flowchart of the iteration.Has any one come across such one? Kindly give the refs. / website. By the way does all ORIGIN's NL analysis based on only LM method?
Origin offers Levenberg-Marquardt minimization as well as Simplex method. In the Advanced NLSF tool, on the Fit Page, there is a separate button to perform Simplex iterations. The default iteration buttons use LM.
As for the LM algorithm/flowchart, you will need to look up text books or search the web - we do not have the flowchart available. The code we use has been customized over the years to meet the needs of the product.
