Hello,
is there a way to get the gradient of a line drawn with the Line Tool or created with Linear Fit?

Hi,
A line drawn on a graph, and a fit curve that results from analysis, are two different things.
The fit curve, such as LR fit curve, is based on a dataset, and you can get slope and intercept for that from the fit results. See this post for example:

As for a line drawn on a graph using the drawing tool, it is a graph object that has a specific name. The default name for the 1st line on a graph is "line". You can then go to script window and type:
line.=
and it will list all properties of that object.
The properties line.x1, line.x2, line.y1 and line.y2 can then be used to compute the slope.
To find the name of your line object, click on the line and select, and then right-click and select Label Control. So if your line is named line2, then the properties will be line2.x1 etc.
