Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 SR5
Operating System: XP prof

I've been experimenting with it for a while, but I cannot work it out.
Suppose there is a line+symbol graph which has one or more outlier (erroneous)points. I'd like to keep these points as visible on the graph, but want to leave out them from the connection. E.g. the 5th point is erroneous. It is visible on the graph but point 4 is connected directly with point 6.
Is it possible to do this somehow in Origin?

Best regards: oszkoa

I don't think there is a built-in mechanism to do this in Origin 7.5.
I have submitted a tracker item 7713 for future version.

For now, you can mask those points from your worksheet, then copy them into another column and plot both.
Once masked, they can be hidden. But in next release, we will make this hiding-masked-points-code to add an option to hide only during the line plot part of the Line+Symbol plot.

Cpyang,

Thank you for your answer. So we have to wait until the next release.
