Hi, i need to make a multi Gaussian fit on histogram however neither of the tools (multi peak, non linear fit) have helped me or did what i need to(or at least i couldn't make it do how i want it).
this is how it look when i try making the fit (the line along the x axis):

and here is what i should get approx, at least, what it should look like(the number of peaks isn't necesserally the same):

I am using Originpro 8.

Hi,

Origin does not support fit on the histogram plot directly.

About how do perform curve fitting on the histogram plot, please refer this quick help page:
https://www.originlab.com/doc/Quick-Help/CurveFit-on-Histogram

Thanks

The thing is, i've tried many options but i dont get nearly the results i need (tried by fitting frequency counts). I've tried doing multi peak Gaussian fit nad it didnt work, i've tried single peak, also didnt work, tried peak analizer, same result. Im in bind and it frustrates me.

Here's an example of what i get in one of my data fits after trying to apply fit on Counts with Multi-peak function:
Here i get simply line with the error "Fits did not converge - reason unknown"

OR

Here i remove the last point in data (highest on the right) and I get this error before the graph is shown:

and then the graph is like this instead of making second peak going up to the right of data points:

Hi,

Is it possible to increase the number of data points in your histogram? It seems you lack enough datapoints to run fitting successfully. If you make histogram plot from raw data in Origin, you can try increase bin numbers in the plot details of the histogram. Hope this helps.

Thank,
James
