Origin Ver. 2018b

Hello,

I would like to plot my data like in the graph from the gallery: https://www.originlab.com/www/products/GraphGallery.aspx?GID=423 . The problem is that each time I use the "3D waterfall" to plot data in the form XYYY Origin makes 3 plots (for 3 different positions on the Z axis, ie.e XY1, XY2, XY3) and I do not know how to plot it: XY1 (for one Z) and XY2Y3 (for other Z).
Also, if I could somehow mark in color the area between Y2 and Y3 (like e.g. here: https://www.originlab.com/www/products/GraphGallery.aspx?GID=452 , the project file is missing), that would be perfect. Thank you very much in advance for the suggestions.

Best regards,
Mat

Hi,

If you create a 3D waterfall, you can put Z position in the Comment row.

Right now waterfall doesn’t support fill color between two lines. But your Y2 is always higher than Y3, you can open the Plot Details dialog > Group tab, and change Y1 and Y3 Area Fill Color to white and Y2 to red, so it looks like the area between Y2 and Y3 is filled to red.

Thanks,
Amanda
