Hi everyone,
I have realized that the output of my graphs as a pdf on 2 different systems for me is different.

The 2017 version exports the pdf as expected: it is a file with the font included and fully scalable without any issues. See this example here:
https://uploadfiles.io/b0zy9

The 2018 version exports the pdf, and somehow transfers the font into a sum of many triangles/rectangels, which appears to be a vector graphic but is edgy. See this exampel:
https://uploadfiles.io/ewh2u
If I print the graph on this system as a pdf, it works out smoothly, but I would prefere not to use this workaround.

Does anyone know, what the reason might be. Is it possible that I have somehow miss-configurated one of licenses?

If there is any additional info that I can provide, I would be happy to do so. Thanks in advance!

-Jonas

2 Systems:
Win10 - Origin2018G(64 bit)
Win10 - Origin2018G(64 bit) SR2

Hi,

We cannot reproduce the problem here. Did you change any system variable in Origin2018? For example, @TO or @TOB? You can select Tools: System Variables to know about it.

Do you use remote desktop?

Thanks,
Amanda

Hi,
yes, I use remote desktop.
And if I use the computer directly the problem does not occur.
Therefore, the issue is solved, thank you!

Is there a way, to avoid the troubles with remote desktop?
