Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2018 SR1
Operating System: Windows 7 64
I need to import a lot of html tables. The tables were saved as xls and excel open them without problems. An example is here http://wvw.se.gob.ar/datosupstream/consulta_avanzada/ddjj.xls.php?hgcd=aWRlbXByZXNhPVBMVSZpZG1lcz0xJmlkY2llcnJlPTk1MjcmaWRjYXJnYT0zJmlkYW5pbz0yMDE4
The first 15 rows and the last 2 rows can be deleted.
Any way to do it?

Hi,

Since the table is saved to xls, you can use File: Import: Excel to import it into Origin worksheet.

Importing as ascii is impossible for me, because as html doesn't have have a structure of rows and columns:

Hi Duff,

I have tried your data, and found that it is not an Excel file, but it is HTML code. You shouldn't change
the file extension to .XLSX, but it should be .HTML . You could open this file by Excel because Excel has
its own filter for HTML code. You can do:
1) Open it in Excel, then save it as real .XLSX file,
2) Drag-and-drop this file onto Origin. (Or, of course, you can also copy-and-paste.)

Please try.

With excel I have not problem for open them, but I need to import them with Origin because there are a many files to import.
