Hi everyone,

I am having hard time formatting the date column. First, i have imported a csv file, in which (checked in notepad++) the date format is dd.mm.yyyy. Then, i saw that the date column format is text & numeric (for example, 2,2062E7) and when i try to change it to date, the column cells change to --. Can you please help me out?

Can you try define the custom format of your date values in import ASCII dialog? Thanks.

Still the same result. I tried every possible way, using the dialog as well as using the column options.

Seems to be caused by dot(.) as 1000 separator. Just check "Keep target column format" in Import Options of impCSV.
