I am now using origin via remote desktop at home. When I try to export a figure in .emf format, the figure is totally a mess with strange font and size. How can I solve this problem?

Try playing with the settings for the @EMRD system variable as documented on this page:

https://www.originlab.com/doc/LabTalk/ref/sys-var-list

It doesnt work to play with @EMRD but I solved this problem by changing the display resolution when connecting to the remote desktop!
