Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Windows 10, Origin 2018b
I'm trying to have a dot above a character in my axis title. The dot is shown in the preview, but not on the title itself. However the dot gets visible if i do not use the exponent. Please see the Pictures appended.

I Tried:
- To bring the title to the front.
- Move the positon (if i do an y offset of 3 or if i deactivate "center multi-line" i can see the dot)

Thanks in Advance!

Hi,

Do you use Origin 2018b? I couldn't reproduce it. Could it be the display size of the graph on the screen is too small? I noticed the dot disappeared visually if I make the graph window small. Thank you.

Hi,
thanks for your reply. Yes i am using Origin 2018b. If i export the graph as png the dot is not visible either.
I didn't really solve it, but i just moved down the axis title of all my graphs down by 4, so i can see it.

Hi,

Try selecting and copying the symbol from the page linked to below and pasting it into Origin (scroll down the page to find it on the list).

NOTE: Our forum breaks the URL below URL. You will need to manually copy (including the stuff in parentheses) and paste it into your browser.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dot_(diacritic)

Another Note: you won't need the \ad() wrapper since the character already has the diacritic.

Does that work?

Thanks,
