Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2017 b9.4.0.220 Operating System: Windows 10
I have the Anaconda distribution on my PC, and tried to install the OriginExt package. However this was not available from the Anaconda repository, so I could not install it using Anaconda Navigator.
I tried to use Pip to install the package, and I get the message "Successfully installed originext-1.0.7".
However, when I try to import OriginExt, I get the error: "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'originext'".
It is particularly confusing because I can see that OriginExt has indeed been installed, and the path that Python is searching is correct (see screenshot). I tried uninstalling then reinstalling Python a couple of times but this did not help.
So I wanted to ask, has anyone had any luck with installing Originext when they have Anaconda installed? I appreciate anyone's time and thank you in advance.
