Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2018b
Operating System: Windows 10

Is there any way to change the order in which graphs are created when automating the process?

I have graphs with the same prefix before a certain number. The program only looks for the first digit and creates the one with the lowest first digit first, i.e. 247 gets created before 95. I would like to see a slideshow of my graphs in order but, due to this setting, the index is not right.

It is a minor issue but, is this hard-coded, or can the setting be changed anywhere?

Thank you.

Hi Claire,

You can change the order in which slides are presented by setting the slide order in Project Explorer:

See "Modify Graph Order for Slide Show or PowerPoint" on this page:
https://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/Project-Explorer#Modify_Graph_Order_for_Slide_Show_or_PowerPoint

Make sure you click the Slide column header before dragging to change order.

Edit
Alternately you can right-click in Project Explorer and choose Slide Show of Graphs->Open Dialog and choose the sort order in the dialog including by short name alphabetically.

Thanks,
Chris Drozdowski
