Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 pro
Operating System: WinXP

Hi,
I would like to fit an exponential decay function to a plot with a logarithmic y-axis. I edited the range and fitted, however, from looking at the fit it has a slope that is not steep enough! It seems that it does not fit graphically but takes the numbers and therefore does not fit so good for lower y-values.. Someone told me that in an earlier version of Origin it has been possible to specify this somewhere: "Fit graphically!" Does anyone know if/how you can do that in v7.5?
Regards,
Bernhard

How does the fit look when you don't plot the Y axis logarithimically?

The fit may be determined for "normal" plots. So the slope may be not to your liking when you plot it in log fashion.
