Origin Ver. 8.6 and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: 64 bit, windows 8

I wanted help on putting reference numbers on top of data points. I have made a scatter data plot in which data points have been taken from different articles, so on top of the data points, i want to add the number of the reference from which it was taken. Please help on how to do so automatically on origin. Thanks!

Hi,

You can double click on the graph. In the Plot Details dialog of the plots, switch to Label tab and enable labels. Other options to add labels can be found in the following.
