Origin Ver. 2018b, b9.5.1.195
Operating System: Windows 10

Hi everyone! I need your help.
I have 25 worksheets in one workbook. Each worksheet contains data that represent a curve. When I plot each curve in one diagram, the result is the following one:



As you can see, each curve has a different color made by choosing a shade option"maple". I want to simplify the legend, I would like to have a color scale legend. I searched on the help online (https://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/ColorScale#Adding_an_independent_color_scale) but the button "add color scale" is deactivated and I cannot press on it.

Hi,

If you are running Origin 2018b, then you will need to use colormapped line series graph type (menu Plot->Multi-Y->Colormapped Line Series...).
